Description
The Yucca Elephantipes is part of the Yucca family. This houseplant originates from Latin America, where Yuccas grow very large in nature.
The Yucca can tolerate sunlight well. Be careful with direct sunlight in the beginning and let the plant get used to it slowly. The Yucca Elephantipes needs at least 5 hours of direct sunlight per day.
This houseplant is used to a dry climate and can therefore do well without water. In warmer periods the Yucca needs more water, but in the winter this plant can do without water for 4 to 6 weeks.
