Description
The Phlebodium, also known as Blue Fern or Zinc Fern, is a striking houseplant. Its unique grey-blue leaves give it a distinctive appearance, making this houseplant very popular for interior decoration.
This houseplant is an epiphyte, which means that in its natural habitat it grows on other plants without harming them. It only uses the host plant as a support. The blue fern has golden brown scales on its roots, which gives it the species name 'aureum', which means 'golden'.
