The Ficus Brown Turkey, better known as the fig plant, has large, deeply cut, dark green leaves that give a robust and graceful appearance. In the summer, the plant produces figs that change from green to a rich, deep purple color as they ripen. It is a very decorative plant with a tropical appearance, ideal for both indoors and outdoors.
Location:
This plant grows best in a sunny spot, although it can also tolerate partial shade. It is ideal for outdoors, for example in the garden or on the terrace, but can also be placed indoors in a well-lit space.
Water requirement:
The Ficus Brown Turkey has a moderate water requirement. Keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid allowing the roots to stand in water. Water as soon as the top layer of the soil feels dry, especially during the warmer months.
